As SafetyCulture continues to grow and scale, we’re looking for an In-house Creative Lead sitting within the Brand Marketing Team to take ownership of enhancing and delivering creative storytelling across a variety of channels. 

This newly created position will play a pivotal role in shaping our customer-first narrative. 
We are looking for someone who can take a lead on creative concepting with proven experience in a similar role in an agency or in-house environment. Whilst we are looking for someone who can take a view on all things creative, the successful candidate’s strength will be grounded in creative concept development and copywriting. This person will also work collaboratively across our VX, Design, Social and Content functions, where we require creative storytelling to bring our message to life.

How you will spend your time:

  • Lead Creative Strategy: Develop and execute creative strategies that align with SafetyCulture’s brand objectives and business goals
  • Working within the brand marketing team and collaborating with the wider marketing team, your mission is to help us tell our brand story more effectively through owned, paid and earned channels
  • Brand Development: elevate SafetyCulture’s brand identity, ensuring consistency and coherence across all touchpoints and communications
  • Inspire and lead creative campaign development with the team around you:
  • - Work with specialists across our social and content teams to deliver best-in-class executions
  • - Work with the Visual Design team to service a variety of marketing briefs - from campaign concepts to tactical activities
  • - Work with our VX team to script, storyboard and direct, to see VX projects through from brief to completion
  • Elevate our existing portfolio of work by shaking up our content creation- for instance through our sponsorship with the Australian Open
  • Deliver on messaging briefs to communicate SafetyCulture’s products and features in a unique and compelling way under our tone of voice
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices campaign approaches, incorporating relevant innovations into SafetyCulture’s creative approach.
  • About you:

  • You can connect business strategy with customer insights, managing multiple projects simultaneously to deliver creative concepts to brief and to deadline
  • A deep understanding of brand development across multichannel marketing concepts 
  • Minimum 4+ years in a similar role in-house or in an agency, with a portfolio of work to demonstrate your experience
  • Incredibly passionate about all things creative, you’ve got objectively good taste and an interest in a wide variety of creative formats 
  • A way with words - you can remove complexity, inject personality and tell a story no matter the channel
  • Skilled in scriptwriting and either experience or interest in being involved in video production, including storyboarding and directing 
  • Whilst copy might be your heartland, you can take a point of view across all creative channels and bring to life your message alongside visual design 
  • A collaborator who enjoys working through problems in a team setting and can ensure that all opinions are respected
  • Leadership skills: ability to inspire, mentor and bring out the best in those around you
