Gods Unchained is our flagship game, built to redefine the digital trading card game (TCG) genre. It utilises Ethereum technology to give players the freedom to buy, sell, and trade their hard-earned in-game items. We have gathered a team dedicated to pushing genre boundaries, creating a rich, fun, and challenging game that’s developed with a ‘player-first’ mindset. 

Immutable is looking for a Community Specialist to join our Gods Unchained team. You will have the opportunity to create and execute game-based content for our blog and social media (Twitter, Instagram, Discord, Reddit, Facebook etc.) that speaks to our userbase and aligns with our company goals. The Community Specialist is on-hand to help and foster relationships with Gods Unchained users as well as understand sentiment to help our Gods Unchained team to achieve success and best support our community.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Foster a community around Gods Unchained, using social tools like Discord and Twitter.
  • Build working relationships with Gods Unchained users, building a bridge between Gods Unchained’s team and the community, allowing us to hear and support the community around the game.
  • Identify, prioritise, and strategise what we communicate and how we communicate it.
  • Own content and social execution.
  • Grow our social reach.
  • Create content such as regular game-based blogs and updates.
  • Manage our email, including automated lifecycle journeys.
  • Create and execute daily content beats.
  • Work with community members to organize game-related events such as tournaments.
  • Asset creation using tools such as Photoshop and Premiere to create social media assets.
  • You’ll have:

  • 2+ years of full-time marketing experience (e.g. community management, influencers, social media, brand management).
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to relate with audiences.
  • Proven experience growing and influencing audiences through content & social media.
  • An ability to thrive in environments where they’re given autonomy and ownership.
  • Experience working in a startup, agency, or small team environment.
  • An ability to operate analytically, with experience crafting content strategies that improve brand reach with little guidance, whilst using data to iterate and improve.
  • Strong skills in time management, organisation, and prioritisation.
  • Experience as an avid gamer.
  • Some extra skills that would be awesome:

  • A passion for or interest in blockchain technology and crypto communities
  • Intermediate skills in photo and video editing.
