How you’ll make an impact
This role has a unique opportunity within the FP&A team to support Xero through consolidated and currency Cash Flow, group wide reporting, analysis and insights, as well as play a role in improvement initiatives and FP&A projects. You will need to develop an understanding of the Xero business environment and provide insight into its current and changing requirements, developing and refining financial models within Xero’s cloud based planning solution to meet these changing needs. You will build strong relationships throughout the business and communicate insights to many different levels and stakeholders throughout the company.
What you’ll do
Develop and drive Xero’s Cash Flow forecasting governance framework and standardised processes to ensure Cash Flow forecasting meets the business needsOwn the annual, quarterly and monthly Cash Flow Budgeting and Forecasting processWork with the Business to understand key business drivers and trends to accurately forecast Cash FlowAnalyse and report monthly on key Cash Flow information between actual, budget or forecasted resultsDrive Cash Flow initiatives that improve insights, accuracy, timeliness and decision makingSupport Treasury with hedging and currency management decisions through ownership of the 18month and 90 day currency cash flow forecastsWork closely with the business to understand initiatives and priorities that impact Cash Flow (i.e. M&A)Work closely with the Financial Reporting team to streamline the Cash Flow reporting processDevelop Cash Flow and Non Cash Flow related ad hoc financial reports, models and insights to aid in effective planning, forecasting and performance evaluationMaintain existing system models to support Cash Flow forecasting, including alignment between systems, and support the design and build of future enhancements.Identify and support the design and build of scalable solutions for ongoing business initiativesBuild commercial skills across the business, understand strategic direction and highlight potential areas of risk or valueWork collaboratively with the EGM Financial Control and EGM Financial Planning & Performance to drive initiatives and performance targetsCommunicate complexity in a way that the audience clearly understand the insights, opportunities and risks
