About the role

You will have excellent communication skills and an affinity with technology. Ideally, you will have a technical background and be comfortable engaging clients to extract business workflow for safety systems and configure them into the company’s platform. Experience in handling web-based technologies and exposure to agile product development environments would be preferred.

Other requirements include:

  • Customer-centric Business Analysis work
  • Analyse, recommend, and improve complex business workflow
  • Working with development teams on web-based projects
  • An ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • A hands-on, can-do approach and the willingness to go above and beyond
  • Communicate to internal and external stakeholders like management, architects and developers
  • Experience working multiple and parallel projects
  • Write reports, process documentation, procedures, and comprehensive recommendations
  • Familiarity with preparing requirement analysis and documentation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail


Your technical and interpersonal skills are equally paramount. You must be highly effective when it comes to both written and verbal communication. You should be looking for an organisation where you can make an impact and benefit from seeing the fruits of your labour. This is a 'technical' BA role, you need to be strong when it comes to SQL analysis, business process analysis and platform/system configuration - as well as having the soft skills necessary to make you effective.

Your experience and skills should include most, if not all:

  • Confidence in engaging with and managing client interactions at all levels
  • Experience with workshop facilitation, process analysis and documentation
  • Work on SaaS Cloud Implementation, System Integration and Business System Analysis
  • Experience working in a small team as a conduit between technology and the business
  • Not required but good to have WHS business process experience
  • Account admin experience
  • 1-3 Years of experience

In addition, you will likely have an IT degree or other relevant technical/project/delivery qualifications. The role also requires the ability to prioritise your work and have excellent written and communication skills.
