This role will be a trusted partner to our founders and take complete ownership of our finance function. and implement best practices across the board. You'll be accountable for accurate reporting of financial results and managing the company’s financial affairs in line with both commercial and strategic objectives. You will lead the team responsible for all accounting functions, including; financial accounts, budgets, management accounts, inventory - stock control, cash flow, treasury, AP, AR, payroll, taxation and overall financial health of the business.
Working in close partnership with senior leaders you will play a key role in developing business strategy and provide ongoing commercial recommendations to drive successful business outcomes, translating financial insight into actionable plans. This is a senior leadership role within the business and as such will require a leader and coach who sets an exceptional example of our ‘pitching in’ culture. The role of Head of Finance in our business is not about saying ‘no’, it’s about explaining ‘how’.
About You - You have a knack for making the complicated, uncomplicated. You're the trusted source of truth and reason, and enable department heads to have confidence in pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
