We are looking for a talented Senior Front End Software Engineer to join our growing Engineering team in Sydney.

We’re currently in the process of building out our product features and you’ll be instrumental in building out the presentation layer of Flare HR's web applications while being responsible for the quality and performance of the code.  You will be supported by and working with an agile cross-functional team consisting of Full Stack Software Engineers, Product Managers, and a pragmatic Design team.

What You’ll Impact Day to Day

• Building beautiful and highly visible customer-facing UI's
• Your passion for writing clean, scalable, testable code will support and enable the growth of Flare
• Integrate metrics and A/B testing to help make data-driven decisions
• Work with comprehensive back-end API support
• Being a champion for applying fundamental design principles behind an expandable application
• Active contributor focused on driving and developing the engineering culture whilst taking ownership of your environment

What You Bring To The Table

In addition to being awesome, down to earth, having a great sense of humour, you have a strong desire to continually master your craft, you also bring:

• 5+ years of hands on experience in an Agile Software Development environment 
• Excellent with HTML/CSS, TypeScript, React, Angular - Don't worry if you don't have extensive experience in our stack, we hire smart Software Engineers who are keen on learning on the job
• Solid appreciation of visual design and UX
• Strong OO design and development experience
• Component based front-end solutions
• Ideally, you have worked in the finance or the financial services industry
