Your Opportunity:

As Talent Acquisition Specialist for hipages, you will be an integral member of our fun and collaborative People & Culture team. You will proactively partner with the business, in particular our Engineering & Product Teams and act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers in the identification, recruitment, and onboarding of high performing talent, who align to our company values and add to our company culture. 

This role is a 12 month fixed term contract. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to our hiring managers on end to end recruitment best practice and hipages processes;
  • Sourcing local and global candidates using a variety of channels including LinkedIn, job ads, headhunting, employee referrals, meetups and events, etc.
  • Managing the candidate experience including expectations throughout the recruitment process so they have a superior experience;
  • Negotiating offers of employment, conducting background checks and ensuring a successful on-boarding experience for all successful candidates;
  • Performing recruitment administrative tasks including thorough use of our ATS (Greenhouse);
  • Assisting in other recruitment initiatives such as employer branding activities ranging from sponsoring events, hosting meetups, graduate recruitment and development programs, creating creative job ads and campaigns, etc. 

Your CV:

  • Experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably with a combination of agency and in-house experience (obtained ideally with fast-growth tech startups or media organisations). Minimum of 12 months in-house recruitment experience.
  • You’re a tech savvy recruiter - which means that you're on the forefront when it comes to using various technologies to help you out with recruiting.
  • Experience recruiting a range of positions within technology, Engineering and Product teams – at all levels junior through to Senior Management. You would ideally have a solid network and reputation in this space. Recruiting other roles is a bonus.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, etc

You are someone who can work in a fast paced and agile environment and can easily shift priorities, all while effectively setting and adhering to stakeholder expectations.  You should be someone whose decisions are driven by data and someone who can make weighted decisions by examining the risks and the impact on others.
