Your Challenge:

In this role your main task will be to identify and ‘hunt” high calibre Small-Medium Enterprise (SME) businesses that will compliment our market driven tradie marketplace by making contact with key decision makers and selling to them the benefits of the hipages platform. As a new sales channel to hipages, you will lead the development of these opportunities to grow your own portfolio and prepare them for handover to the Account Management channel.    

You know you are successful when you are targeting and bringing on board enterprises in particular geographic locations and trade category, meeting and exceeding targets and KPIs.

What you will be doing day-to-day: 

  • Meeting and exceeding daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s and sales targets (essential)
  • Comfortable with cold calling and Business Development conversations to introduce our product and services to SME customers across varying categories and geographic regions
  • Making a high volume of outbound calls, predominantly prospecting to introduce our product and services
  • Explaining the key benefits of hipages with potential clients in high demand areas
  • Handling customers objections (essential)
  • Closing the sale and signing up new customers over the phone, via Zoom sessions or face to face
  • Effective note taking on all client interactions and input into CRM system

You bring:

  • Experience in sales prospecting over the phone, confidence to deliver value propositions, sales conversations based on BNA (Business Needs Assessment), getting through a variety of gatekeepers and strong closing skills.
  • Confident in face to face (including zoom) sales meetings, to a diverse audience including up to large group presentations 
  • The ability to work under pressure to meet targets
  • Proven experience in building a new business pipeline from scratch
