About the role:

As the Head of People and Culture at Sidekicker, you will work closely with our COO and CEO to own the employee experience for all our employees across ANZ. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the people function and to have an impact across the company. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end people experience including talent acquisition, people enablement, capability development, leadership, culture, engagement, reward, recognition and retention.

We’ve invested significant effort in the last 12 months building out people function foundations. We are now looking for someone to take ownership of our exciting people initiatives and drive them forward.

Core responsibilities:

  • Build organisational capacity and capability to deliver the strategy.
  • Develop and drive People and Culture initiatives.
  • Attract and hire the best and brightest talent to enable growth.
  • Continue to automate people processes to enable scale.
  • Drive employee engagement and retention.
  • Drive a high-performance culture including the execution of the quarterly review process.
  • Build leadership capability and proactively coach people managers on people issues.
  • Partner with the business to build capability and to set teams up for success.
  • Act as the expert on employee relations issues and ensure business leaders are equipped to operate effectively within Fair Work and other industrial instrument legislations.
  • Own internal communications, employee messaging and the office experience.
  • Lead the People and Culture team and be accountable for the People and Culture P&L.

What we are looking for in you:

  • Extensive experience as an HR Generalist ideally with experience working in a tech-focused environment.
  • Extensive employee relations experience across ANZ and ability to proactively mitigate people risk.
  • Partnering with the business to build capability and to set up teams for success.
  • Experience in supporting an organization through growth.
  • Ability to operate at a commercially strategic level as well as at the transactional level.
  • Experience designing and executing impactful people initiatives that align with company strategy and building pragmatic and engaging practices and processes.
  • Proven coaching and leadership experience.
  • High-impact communications skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate agility and flexibility in a dynamic environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
