The primary role of the support engineer is to provide support to customers of the Tyro Connect Product and manage onboarding and certification requests. This function will be part of the team that builds the Tyro Connect Product.

Key accountabilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for App and POS partners and their developers, resellers and customers/merchants 
  • Taking ownership of any Merchant/Partner support requests including troubleshooting and documentation requests
  • Champion the app, POS and Merchant onboarding process
  • Manage app and POS integration support and certification
  • Completing requests from our Merchants regarding menu setup
  • Follow-up and update customer status and information
  • Contributing to documentation for Tyro Connect
  • About you:

  • Driven to learn
  • Experience in a customer focused position requiring a high level of product knowledge is beneficial
  • Ability to work in a team environment where you can help drive efficiency and improvements
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities
  • Able to demonstrate skills in problem analysis and resolution finding
  • Completed or in-progress tertiary qualifications in IT is highly regarded
