Seer Medical is a team of experts in clinical science, biomedical engineering, and design tackling some of the most challenging problems in medical diagnostics. Founded in 2017, Seer has grown rapidly to deliver an at-home video-EEG-ECG service for seizure diagnostics and management that has now helped over 5,000 people around Australia find the cause of their seizures. We are passionate about empowering people to take control of their health by making gold-standard medical testing accessible and we’re looking for people who feel the same to join our team.

About the role

The health/medical content writer would join the marketing team to develop content for digital and print materials including, but not limited to: the Seer Medical website, blogs and articles, lead generating landing pages, email communications, patient brochures, clinician brochures, eDetailers, and more. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with experience writing content for both service and product marketing materials.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage the stages of the content development process including researching, planning, writing, and editing a variety of content, ensuring brand consistency and tone of voice guidelines
  • Transform complex medical and scientific information into clear and compelling content that is accessible to a general audience
  • Draw on research publications and other sources to support and craft messaging where appropriate
  • Work closely with the SEO team to ensure that strategy is adhered to and that best practices are implemented
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gain a deep understanding of the business’s various stakeholder audiences
  • Exercise your extensive knowledge of AHPRA guidelines, TGA code and Medicines Australia code to ensure content is in compliance

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a content marketing or strategy role within the healthcare sector
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, business or other related discipline
  • Strong medical content writing and editing skills and unrelenting attention to detail
  • Strong research skills and the ability to interpret academic writing
  • Obsessive attention to detail
  • Experience with stakeholder management
