This role is tailored to an electronics specialist providing purchasing and electronics support to both production and R&D departments. You will be working in a small agile purchasing team servicing the needs of production and R&D departments. Reporting to the Senior Purchasing & Procurement Officer you will be an integral part of a purchasing and procurement team operating in a growth environment.

Role Responsibilities

Ability to determine alternate available components for use in the manufacture of PCBA’s.

Updating of electronics design package library’s with suitable alternate components.

Implementing purchasing policies and plans to achieve business objectives.

Administer the purchasing process from the point of purchase requisition to fulfilment.

Maintain inventory accuracy.

Ensure accuracy of component attributes in our planning system.

Monitor supplier performance.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

PCBA / Electronics purchasing background.

Experience with PCBA / circuit design.

Knowledge of how to select suitable alternate components for a given design/requirement.

Knowledge of PCBA design platforms (Altium highly regarded but not essential)

Education in a procurement and/or electronics discipline will be looked upon favourably.

3 years experience in an electronics purchasing role.

Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to adapt to changeStrong time management skills

Ability to clearly communicate ideas and requirements.

Salesforce experience, Confluence experience and Altium Experience would all be nice to have
