This role is tailored to an electronics specialist providing purchasing and electronics support to both production and R&D departments. You will be working in a small agile purchasing team servicing the needs of production and R&D departments. Reporting to the Senior Purchasing & Procurement Officer you will be an integral part of a purchasing and procurement team operating in a growth environment.

Role Responsibilities

  • Ability to determine alternate available components for use in the manufacture of PCBA’s.
  • Updating of electronics design package library’s with suitable alternate components.
  • Implementing purchasing policies and plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Administer the purchasing process from the point of purchase requisition to fulfilment.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure accuracy of component attributes in our planning system.
  • Monitor supplier performance.
  • Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • PCBA / Electronics purchasing background.
  • Experience with PCBA / circuit design.
  • Knowledge of how to select suitable alternate components for a given design/requirement.
  • Knowledge of PCBA design platforms (Altium highly regarded but not essential)
  • Education in a procurement and/or electronics discipline will be looked upon favourably.
  • 3 years experience in an electronics purchasing role.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changeStrong time management skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas and requirements.
  • Salesforce experience, Confluence experience and Altium Experience would all be nice to have
