We’re on a mission to be the first payment choice, everywhere and every day. To help drive this growth, we’re looking for a SMB Account Executive to join our team. 

As an Account Executive in our SMB Sales team, you will be on the front-lines of a fast-growing ecommerce payments business - talking commerce and payments with business owners and executives in small to medium sized businesses. 

You should possess a “no fear” outbound calling mentality, excellent email drafting skills, and a genuine desire to support and enable Australia’s small business community. You should have the ability to create opportunities and close them. Importantly, you should be comfortable with, or quick to learn, the user interfaces of software programs (like Salesforce CRM) that support you in ramping and maintaining your pipeline.

Account Executives are responsible for outbound prospecting, lead generation, pipeline management, and closing sales with small and medium sized businesses. you will use personalised efforts to authentically connect with potential customers, spark curiosity, and close opportunities.

The role

  • Use cold outreach strategies to develop new leads and opportunities with prospective businesses
  • Develop and maintain a high-volume sales pipeline
  • Maintain accurate sales and onboarding processes through Salesforce CRM 
  • Meet individual and team deadlines, KPIs, and targets
  • Close new accounts ensuring new merchants are transacting

  • At least 2 years of solution selling or high-volume customer service roles with a digital product
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs and sales targets
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional relationship building skills and ability to build relationships with C-level decision makers in the retail vertical 
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated, competitive individual with the ability to work fast and smart
  • Proactive and curious with a love for finding solutions to customer problems
  • Understanding of analytical and quantitative levers used by merchants
  • Experience in the payments/eCommerce space is a plus!
