MyDeal.com.au is an online marketplace that focuses on providing “everything for your home” (furniture, homewares, garden, appliances and more). We connect our customers with millions of products sold by Australia’s leading retailers.

Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a creative, analytical and strategic Social Media Manager looking to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion through organic and paid social initiatives. You will possess a deep understanding of social media tactics and strategies, along with overall experience of digital marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all paid and organic social media platforms end-to-end. From ideation, content creation, coordinating assets, to execution, management and reporting.
  • Identify and drive a compelling, multi-platform paid social strategy & organic content strategy designed to accomplish larger business objectives.
  • Create compelling content that engages and converts. From writing copy, briefing design, coordinating shoots to overseeing the production of content internally and with an agency.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal teams to deliver on business goals.
  • Manage budgets and report on key metrics, providing insights and identifying opportunities for ongoing optimisations.
  • Report on KPIs to quantify and qualify effectiveness of brand and conversion based campaigns.
  • Lead a team of 2 x Social Media coordinators to assist in bringing your strategies to life!

Requirements

  • 3+ years of paid social experience in eCommerce and retail industries.
  • Experience interpreting data and producing reports to identify insights and make optimisations.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets across multiple channels.
  • Understanding of the entire marketing funnel - including brand building and conversion activity. Knowledge of broader media planning and buying to ensure integration and coordination with wider media objectives occur.
  • Experience in platforms: Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, Pinterest Ads, TikTok Ads.
