OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

With our vision in mind to become Australia’s most loved short-term rental brand, you will be in charge of a team of marketing professionals and will direct our marketing efforts towards MadeComfy’s growth and brand awareness. Your performance mindset and creative business acumen will help make MadeComfy the go-to place to book refined short to mid-term rentals and enable MadeComfy’s scalability and profitability.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Define marketing strategies to support the company’s overall objectives to improve visibility and explore new ways to grow across property acquisition and booking
  • Oversee the day-to-day implementation across all marketing activities (brand, content, performance, promos, partnerships) to achieve specific business targets and be hands-on when required
  • Build and lead the marketing team across performance, brand, partnerships and Inbound to develop and execute campaigns from start to finish
  • Monitor marketing operations and communications to ensure they project MadeComfy’s tone of voice
  • Deep dive into market, competitor, and macro trend insights to set up foundational understanding that leads to success
  • Use data-driven approach and best practices to optimise and improve channel performances
  • Create a solid network of strategic partnerships
  • Growth hacking through constant testing to uncover new marketing opportunities
  • Liaise with the leadership team and other departments to build solutions that are unique to the property and guest markets
  • Look for opportunities to improve efficiency by adopting new marketing technologies and initiatives

  • Sales Qualified Lead
  • Cost per SQL
  • Return on Advertising Spend
  • Customer Acquisition Cost

KEY TRAITS

  • 8+ years of working experience with at least 3 years in a senior-level role developing strategy and leading teams
  • 3+ years of experience in a data-intensive and strategic role
  • Demonstrated track record of hitting KPIs and driving success in fast-growth organisations
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from research and data
  • A natural team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Passionate, hard-working, and a self-starter with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to project manage and multitask at scale, in a dynamic and detail-oriented environment
  • Strategic thinking but not afraid to get their hands dirty
  • B2B marketing and real estate industry experience are advantageous but not a must
