This is a unique role to become a member of the Customer Engagement & Retention team and will be pivotal in the delivery of our customer engagement & retention strategy, to deepen our relationship with our customers by creating an amazing customer experience that drives value for our customers and for Tyro. You are a data enthusiast who is excited about the opportunity to play a key role in the creation of our customer marketing analytics, experience and insights function. This role will suit an individual who is a natural problem solver and who thrives on end-end control, ownership and accountability.
You will work with the other members of the customer engagement and retention team to understand opportunities and gaps, and respectively recommend data driven approaches and solutions to reduce customer friction and address business problems throughout each stage of the customer lifecycle.

What you'll do

  • Working closely with the Customer Engagement & Retention team to support the implementation of the customer experience, engagement strategy
  • Customer campaign extraction including planning, extraction and reporting from different sources (MySQL, SFDC, Snowflake) and manipulate it to derive insights (Alteryx, Tableau Prep, MySQL Workbench)
  • Working with the customer intelligence marketing manager as the department’s SME’s for marketing automation and CRM
  • Develop and implement data-driven communication/triggers to customers
  • At all times ensure adherence to data integrity, compliance and best practices
  • Responsible for the identification and management of risk in day to day responsibilities.
  • Comply with Tyro policies and procedures including completing mandatory training within the required timeframes.
  • Role model positive risk behaviours and contribute towards a strong risk culture at Tyro.
  • What you'll need

  • Bachelor’s Degree qualified in Analytical or technical discipline
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role; Data extractions & manipulation skills – SQL
  • Experience using CRM and marketing automation software; Marketo, Salesforce and Pardot experience is highly desirable
  • Experience working with large data sets and data querying languages
  • Excellent competency in all Microsoft tools – particularly Excel & PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal & written skills – attention to detail
  • Proven experience in quality extraction of customer campaign data
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and part of a team
  • Optimistic and inquisitive nature
  • Alteryx, Tableau Prep
  • Understanding of SME or fintech market in Australia
  • Strong understanding of business or retail banking
