Junior Engineer – Test Automation

We have an opportunity for a Junior Engineer to join our team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role will be responsible automation tests and will be a significant contributor to developing and maintaining the medEbridge automation test suite. The role will involve working with the QA Manger, Product Owner and Engineers to design and develop the automation tests for the medEbridge platform.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Developing automated tests to verify feature functionality
  • Maintain automation test suites
  • Review automation test results and take appropriate actions on failures
  • Contribute to the incremental development of test automation frameworks

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Experience with Selenium, Specflow and writing feature files
  • Writing step definitions using C#
  • Working experience/knowledge in HTML, JavaScript/ TypeScript/ jQuery/ React, Bootstrap/Nodejs/GRUNT
  • Agile development practices
  • Strong Test Automation experience – testing across UI, Web Services, API’s (REST & SOAPUI)
  • Passion for all things digital and highly motivated with a willingness to learn
  • Preferably from development background would be ideal
  • Strong communication skills, able to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
