About the Role

Zeller is searching for a talented SEO and Web Specialist to join our rapidly expanding Growth team. This role is responsible for overseeing growth in organic search and traffic to myzeller.com, and ensuring visibility for Zeller’s key public web pages, content and products online. You’ll also help to drive our Public Web strategy; by building, launching and optimising content and pages, and define our roadmap for consistent improvement on myzeller.com. 

The successful candidate will bring strong, hands-on experience in SEO and managing websites (preferably on Hubspot), with a proven ability to unify cross-functional teams to drive exponential growth in organic traffic. Role responsibilites

  • Drive high-volume organic search growth for Zeller’s Public Web domain(s) that sees us achieve our monthly SEO and Content activation targets 
  • Plan and execute effective SEO programs including (but not limited to) keyword and opportunity analysis, campaign planning, audits and management
  • Guide the marketing team on tactical SEO recommendations to support product launches, campaigns, content marketing, website updates and more 
  • Identify and implement forward-facing opportunities and tactics that exponentially grow Zeller’s search engine visibility and rankings
  • Help to advocate and guide the organisation towards SEO best practices and adoption by ensuring that organic search is a core element of our planning process 
  • Lead all Public Web projects, including (but not limited to) new product launches, campaign launches, page edits and optimisations within the Hubspot platform
  • Build and execute an effective Conversion Rate Optimisation program that supports Public Web and Paid Marketing optimisation 
  • Advocate for and implement new technologies and tools that help us to consistently optimise and improve the user experience on myzeller.com 
  • Track and report back on Organic Search performance and keyword rankings for brand and non-brand targets, as well as competitor sites for all Zeller products and services 
  • Use analytics to deliver insights back to the business that showcase the impact of your work
  • Qualifications and experience

  • 3 - 4 years of hands-on experience in SEO (preferably in-house or in the e-commerce / online retail space), with a proven track record of successfully developing and implementing SEO programs that improve Organic Search performance for online businesses
  • Understanding of content optimisation best practices at scale 
  • Knowledge of technical SEO best practices and optimisation 
  • A proven track record of developing and managing SEO initiatives and delivering effective, measurable results 
  • Extensive knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms and ranking strategies, and a passion to stay abreast of new sand trends in this space 
  • Some experience in implementing successful large-scale SEO initiatives, including link building and site architecture 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with content, design, communications and marketing teams to drive SEO programs 
  • Expertise in managing SEO and Public Web projects, roadmap and reporting to ensure that SEO fixes are shipped in a timely manager 
  • Understanding of critical SEO analytics and research platforms (e.g. Google and Bing Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics, Google Adwords Keyword Planner), as well as familiarity with 3rd party SEO tools (e.g. SEMrush) 
  • A tertiary education, or a track record of relevant experience that proves it wasn’t needed
  • A creative mind that can deliver and execute on bold ideas.
