EzyCollect is an Australian-founded B2B startup on a mission to eliminate late payments! We put smart technology in the hands of ambitious businesses, so they have the cash and confidence to manifest their dreams. Our invoice-to-payments subscription software complements accounting/ERP software (MYOB, Xero, NetSuite, SAP etc.) to automate the process of getting paid. We are expanding our products and services as well as our team! We are a team of over 60 across Australia, Brazil, and the Philippines and are looking to hire those with curiosity and grit who get excited about having a big impact in a growing startup. We have some exciting plans for the future, with an IPO and international expansion expected in 2022.

We are currently looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) who will generate new business opportunities for ezyCollect. You will be given all the coaching, training and tools to be a rock star in this career path. You will learn how to identify and research lists of companies to target, and how to develop email and telephone campaigns to generate new business opportunities. At this stage in our journey of delivering awesomeness, we are looking to rapidly expand our sales teams while maintaining the high standards we have set and achieved so far.

The Role

  • Generate new qualified leads by doing outbound qualification research and prospecting calls
  • High volume, cold and warm calling to generate interest, qualify leads, and book in product tours for the account executives
  • Work closely with partner managers and account executives to generate leads and close deals
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions affecting the direction of the business, contribute to the direction of the company through presenting ideas, and using your creativity to innovate processes
  • Proactively use our CRM to document all conversations, activities, track tasks, track results, and maintain your day to day in the role
  • Role requirements

  • 1-3 years of lead generation or selling experience
  • Telephone customer engagement experience is essential, prior telemarketing sales experience is ideal.
  • Experience selling to C-level contacts desirable
  • Prior experience in finance or accounting is highly desirable
  • Highly developed and effective interpersonal verbal communication skills
  • A goal-oriented and driven nature
  • Computer and tech-savvy
  • CRM-experience, ideally Hubspot, is a big plus
  • Have a real hunger to hit targets and over-exceed
  • Passionate and loves going above and beyond
  • Likes to learn and is not afraid to experiment with new ways of doing things
  • University degree preferred
