The purpose of the role focuses on obtaining customer feedback, identifying trends and operational gaps and then implementing process changes to improve service levels and operational efficiency. A core focus will be on daily monitoring of performance metrics, and followIng up on more complex issues with the carriers that can’t be quickly resolved such as insurance issues, under-declared & serviceability.

What you will do:

  • Establish roll out plan and monitoring for new and existing shipping services.
  • Monitor and drive key carrier performance metrics including; 1. Average Pickup time 2. On time delivery 3. Customer Satisfaction for carrier and service type.
  • Contribute to defining the functional strategy in collaboration with Department Heads and/or Executive Leadership.
  • Contribute to defining the functional strategy into key objectives.
  • Support the delegation of objectives to team members in collaboration with Department Head/ Executive Leadership.
  • Execute on objectives as an individual contributor.
  • What you will bring:

  • Existing Carrier relationships in AU and New Zealand
  • Understanding of carrier networks and operational processes including reporting tools such as Excel, Zendesk or Looker.
  • Previous experience in courier operations preferred.
  • Attention to detail and forward thinking.
  • Ability to identify and act on operational issues and gaps in the logistics chain to continually seek improvement.
