As part of our ongoing growth at Airtasker we're looking for a Performance Marketing  Manager to be responsible for creating & delivering campaigns across the customer lifecycle to drive acquisition, retention & engagement. The Performance Marketing manager will be responsible for setting Airtasker's performance vision, innovating the channel, collaborating with other business functions and defining the paid strategy.
Reporting to our VP of Growth the role will work closely with our international Product Manager and CEO to devise our international growth strategy as well as working closely with our design team and Product Marketing Manager. Performance Marketing is a key pillar in Airtasker’s marketing strategy and serves to maximize the acquisition of new consumers as well as driving retention by re engaging existing users. Therefore, enabling the business to achieve consumer based targets and ultimately its financial goals.

What you'll do:

  • Developing and own the digital media acquisition strategy
  • Hands-on day-to-day management of performance marketing activity across Paid Search, Paid Social, Affiliates and owned media channels
  • Monitor and optimising the ongoing performance of campaign activity
  • Measuring and report on full end-to-end campaign performance
  • Communicating performance and insights to internal stakeholders
  • Performance forecasting and budget management
  • Coordinating with the broader marketing team to ensure alignment and consistency across marketing channels
  • What you'll need to succeed:

  • Experienced with Google Ads (Search & Display), Google Ads Editor, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager
  • Experienced with reporting and manipulating data in Microsoft Excel
  • Up to date with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices
  • Strong data visualisation skills to effectively communicate performance and business impact to the broader business
  • Knowledge of HTML, 3rd party ad tags, and other forms of digital ad code
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to forecast performance in order to create budgets
  • Data visualisation tools (Tableau experience preferred)
  • Adept at prioritising most impactful tasks/projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to present complex data, influence others and build relationships
  • Strong project management and collaboration skills 
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate quantitative and qualitative data into a targeted performance marketing strategy
  • Proactive can-do attitude and Ability to operate in a very fast paced environment with ambiguity
