The Credit, Monitoring and Investigations Officer works within our Credit function to put in place fraud mitigation controls and to monitor and investigate suspicious activity. The role is also responsible for supporting credit’s role in vendor and agent monitoring and customer complaints. It is a first line of defence role.
What you'll do
Monitoring & InvestigationsWorking closely with the Head of Credit, put in place effective controls and strategies to mitigate the incidence of fraud within Brighte and with its vendors and agents.Daily monitoring of suspicious transactions and activities.Critically examine trends and data points for indications of fraud and investigate thoroughly.Utilise systems and contacts to keep up to date with fraud mitigation techniques including with Equifax, the Clean Energy Council, and others.Record and report on investigations undertakenCase manage fraudulent activities if identified.·Promote fraud awareness within Brighte.Monitoring & ControlUndertake various agent and vendor monitoring activities as instructed from the Head of Credit or from the Vendor and Agent Monitoring Committee (VAM)Liaison with the sales to discuss and remedy actions arising in respect of vendor and agent monitoring.ComplaintsProvide ad hoc support to Brighte’s Complaints Manager as required, managing cases and responses.·General backfill to the Complaints Manager.
