HotDoc is a Melbourne based company, which was founded in 2012. We started out as a humble Online Bookings company, but we’ve since evolved into a Patient Engagement platform, which helps 5m+ patients and 18,000+ health professionals communicate more effectively and build stronger relationships.

We’re looking for a proven Sales and Marketing leader who has owned revenue for a high growth company, who is a good person, and genuinely cares about the patient experience.


Your job will not be easy. You will be tasked with leveraging the 18,000+ GPs and 5m+ patient users on our platform to help us gain market leadership in Dental, Specialists, Allied Health and branch into the hospital space.


Working under you will be a crack shot sales team (19 people and growing) and an exceptional marketing team (5 people and growing) who are responsible for driving the acquisition that has already helped us gain market leadership in the GP space.


The work you do will be pivotal to HotDoc being used by millions of Australians to more easily access the care they need and manage their health with greater confidence. Your work will impact health outcomes across Australia.

What will you be doing?

  • Develop and execute a strategy that leverages our 18,000 GP customers and 5m+ patient users to successfully attain market leadership in new markets
  • Manage HotDoc’s end-to-end acquisition funnel and achieve >40% YoY growth of activated health professionals on our platform
  • Experiment relentlessly and optimise metrics across the funnel including CAC, LTV, Sales Velocity, Payback Period, ARPU and others
  • Partner closely with HotDoc’s Exec team to spearhead our transition to a lower touch acquisition and operating model
  • Lead and scale high performing Sales and Marketing teams and unite the leaders in these teams to achieve strategic harmony
  • Drive ‘Patient Experience’ as an important movement in Australian healthcare for which HotDoc becomes synonymous for and make HotDoc a household name as we transition to a consumer-facing brand
  • Work closely with the CX and Product teams to drive adoption of our products and as a consequence improve Patient Engagement and Covid vaccination uptake for millions of Australians
  • Ensure HotDoc has the most efficient tool, systems and processes to drive growth and deliver good employee experiences
  • Be an ambassador of our company values

Requirements

You’re just the person we’re looking for if you can demonstrate

  • You are a good person who genuinely cares about the patient experience
  • You have owned a top-line revenue target in a high growth company that has ideally scaled beyond $20m ARR under your watch
  • You have at least 10 years leading and scaling high performance teams in both Sales and Marketing
  • You know SaaS inside and out
  • You have a good sense of humour. Bonus points for self-deprecating.
  • Healthcare experience is a bonus
