This role is responsible for managing, tracking, and refining Xero’s Global Sales content strategy ensuring we deliver high quality content for both our Customers and our Sales Teams.


As Xero’s Global Sales Content Manager, you will sit across and govern the creation, curation and maintenance of all outbound sales content, including email templates, call scripts, relevant web content, presentations and customer plans. In relevant instances, you will also draft and maintain messaging. The content will be centralised (by region) and made easily accessible to our Sales teams when and where they need it.

You will maintain and report on the overarching Sales Content strategy to ensure the business understands the effectiveness of its sales content and can refine as required. You will ensure the content remains aligned and consistent with Xero’s global sales motions and processes, working closely with regional Sales Leaders, Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, Product Marketing, Education and Marketing to ensure this occurs.

What you’ll do

  • Undertake an audit of existing sales content and build a bill of materials
  • Create and maintain a portfolio of solution and sales play assets that maximises sellers ability to self-serve
  • Evaluate where improvements can be made in content strategy and develop innovative and creative content solutions to drive seller productivity
  • Explore how new and emerging communication methods and content formats can drive results for sellers
  • Translate seller feedback into the ongoing evaluation of solution and sales play content to meet seller needs
  • Implement a measurement strategy and use data to not only drive content strategy but also measure effectiveness of content initiatives
  • Work cross functionally across internal partners and stakeholders including sales/ enablement/operations, product marketing, marketing to understand critical needs and translate needs into solutions
  • Direct content creation for customer and seller audiences across format types (eg customer presentations, collateral, enablement tools, infographics etc)

  • Experience in understanding how content supports seller activities to drive customer discussions and opportunity generation
