We are looking for a Portfolio Distribution Manager to join our team and support our ever-growing network of professional hosts.

About the role

Day to day you’ll be:

  • Directly supporting the Program Manager in managing day-to-day activities of the team to achieve organisation goals
  • Managing the onboarding, distribution, connection and synchronization of Hometime’s properties across different booking channels
  • Playing a key role in ensuring team members and Partners can simultaneously onboard, manage and optimise properties to a high standard across all channels
  • Identifying the need for and creating internal processes to improve efficiencies and outcomes related to team goals
  • Collaborating with the Content and Revenue Management teams to establish the best marketing and pricing strategies specific to each channel
  • Managing the relationships with personnel from different booking channels, working together to solve our problems and improving interactions with the platforms
  • Working with Hometime’s Product Team to improve and launch new features
  • Responding to Partner queries and providing supplementary support as required
  • Helping to create value-adding Partner materials

About you:

We value transferable skills and strengths over experience. We’re looking for someone who ticks off most of the boxes below, but we don’t mind where you developed these skills. This role could be performed remotely as long as you have a good internet connection and can have a 70% overlap of Australian business hours. 

Your skills: 

  • Process-driven: You can bring structural processes to previously complex or confusing situations and document them in a way that is easily understood
  • Analytical thinking: You are highly analytical with a knack for structured, systematic thinking and statistics
  • Project management: You're able to plan, organise, and direct the completion of specific projects while ensuring these projects are on time, on budget, and within the scope
  • Data analysis: You're able to accurately interpret performance data, understand the takeaways and use it to inform the decisions you make
  • Customer service: You have excellent verbal, written and people communication skills and are naturally motivated to provide timely, attentive, and upbeat service to Hometime Partners, making sure their needs are met in a manner that reflects positively on the business.

Must haves:

  • Project management experience in some capacity
  • Proficient in learning and using software
  • Data-centric approach to solving problems
  • Time management, prioritisation and business judgement skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Strong attention to detail
  • An independent and motivated team player with strong communication skills to effectively support Hometime’s Partner network
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a resourceful and results-driven can-do attitude

Nice to haves: 

  • Experience using a Property Management System or related Channel Manager software
  • Experience hosting on Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, or other booking platforms
  • Tertiary qualification
  • Understanding of the core principles of Airbnb, Booking.com, etc
  • Australia / New Zealand market knowledge
