What your new job can look like…

Due to some exciting international growth plans, this new role will report to our CEO and take a leadership role within our organisation, responsible for driving the development of business strategies across Moodle, seeking out and assessing commercial opportunities with a focus on merger and acquisition activities.

With the pace of Moodle, no two days will ever be the same. But most days will involve a mix of:

  • Driving the strategic direction of M&A activities, including leading landscape analysis, pipeline development, strategic due diligence and overall transaction management;
  • Leading commercial negotiations and interactions with all parties involved in potential acquisitions;
  • Coordinating and managing the merging of acquired entities into Moodle;
  • Managing multiple stakeholders, providing detailed analytical and commercial insights;
  • Working with the Moodle management team in the preparation of comprehensive business plans.
  • Working with the Moodle Board to help develop and deliver commercial strategies to drive growth in line with Moodle goals and values.

Requirements

This is the role for you...

Especially if you can talk to us about your:

  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders, providing detailed analytical and commercial insights;
  • Record of exceptional performance and experience in a similar role;
  • Extensive M&A experience with a proven track record working through the entire lifecycle;
  • Outstanding commercial acumen, strategic and lateral thinking, agile problem-solving skills, exceptional communication, negotiation and influencing skills;
  • Ability to add value to high-level management interactions, with a proven ability to develop, communicate and create buy-in around business strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills, a collaborative and team focused attitude, a willingness to embrace the Moodle culture and values, and a genuine passion for success.
