Atlassian can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity, assuming candidates have eligible working rights and a sufficient timezone overlap with their team. As our offices re-open, Atlassians can choose to work remotely or return to an office, unless it’s necessary for the role to be performed in the office. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.

A thriving developer ecosystem is vital to Atlassian’s long-term success. Happy customers extend our products to get millions of use cases done. The Ecosystem Platform team owns the developer experience and focuses on creating possibilities for thousands of developers, from passionate product champions that tailor our products to the needs of their companies, to popular Cloud vendors integrating with Atlassian, all the way to app vendors in our marketplace building their careers and multi-million dollar businesses on top of Atlassian. It’s a diverse, fun and super passionate community of Atlassian developers you’ll love working with!

As a Product Manager on Ecosystem Platform you evolve our extensibility platform to make it easier to extend and integrate the Atlassian Cloud. You could work on lowering the bar to app creation with our next-gen developer platform, Forge, from new developer awareness, onboarding, guides and reference materials, through to app management. Partnering closely with various product teams including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Trello, you could drive support for to empower the diverse use cases our cloud developer community is solving for.

More About You

On your first day we'll expect you to have;

  • Sound product management experience in tech
  • Strong technical background or acumen with a good understanding of APIs to understand and prioritise the needs of developers as our customers - you’re a PM by trade, but love geeking out over great technical ideas from time to time
  • You love obsessing over your users (developers!), and working directly with design and engineering to enable them to realise their ideas on our platform
  • Good instincts matched with deep analytical thinking. You're comfortable defining and tracking key business and usage success metrics
  • Ability to prioritise among opportunities, balance the needs of a diverse set of external and internal stakeholders of our platform and clearly communicate the rationale behind your decisions
  • Creativity in problem solving combined with an anything is possible attitude
  • Ability to inspire the team to build better products with a constant dedication to understand, question and improve the experiences for our users and drive strategic impact.
  • A track record of building relationships and influencing without authority at all levels of the organisation. You’ll make sure we’re all on the same page.
  • It's great but not required if you have;

  • Experience with product management on a SaaS platform or building developer APIs / SDKs so you know what it’s like to establish a platform and building for developers vs. directly solving for end user needs
  • Built apps or integrations for any of Atlassian’s products, or have been a startup founder so you have first-hand experience in building something new from scratch
  • More about our benefits

    Whether you work in an office or a distributed team, Atlassian is highly collaborative and yes, fun! To support you at work (and play) we offer some fantastic perks: ample time off to relax and recharge, flexible working options, five paid volunteer days a year for your favourite cause, an annual allowance to support your learning & growth, unique ShipIt days, a company paid trip after five years and lots more.
