About the Opportunity 

As Afterpay continues to grow, so does our Global Privacy Team! Therefore, we have identified the need for an experienced Senior Privacy Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will report to and work closely with our Global Privacy Manager to support the management and delivery of our Global Privacy Management Framework. This permanent role will be located in our Melbourne office. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Support the delivery of strategic privacy programmes of work
  • Manage privacy compliance monitoring and reporting processes
  • Manage and conduct privacy risks assessments (eg. third parties, projects, and initiatives)
  • Be a privacy champion network liaison, supporting privacy advice and culture building
  • Draft privacy governance and artefacts 
  • Manage privacy matters as they arise

About You 

  • 2+ years’ experience in a relevant field - privacy, legal, compliance, data governance, security, and/or technology
  • A degree/certification in a relevant discipline is preferred (e.g. CIPP/E, CIPT) 
  • Experience in high growth technology environments or financial services preferred. 
  • Project management skills, and a sense of ownership
  • Confident, collaborative and form strong stakeholder relationships
  • Passionate about privacy and have a can-do attitude 
  • A willingness to learn, be challenged and be part of a team 
  • Enjoy solving problems and are creative but also strategic
