What your day to day may look like

  • Work closely with our CPO to draw out his product ideas and determine the next viable product to put through your process and seeing it come alive with our clients.
  • Demonstrate leadership by adding to and building out the Qsic product team including implementing the product framework, documentation and cadence of the department through to being an ambassador for our products as we grow.
  • Gather and manage product feedback through surveys, user testing, and analytics tools.
  • Manage the product planning process - from idea, through discovery, UX and design, to creating stories for the team to work on.
  • Lead discovery work to validate new ideas and ensure we are building the right things.
  • Manage our product backlog and schedule work into development sprints.
  • Work closely with engineering and design to ship new features and iterative enhancements, and launch new partnerships to market. 
  • Develop hypotheses, run experiments, analyse data to optimise user experiences, and propose any improvements to optimise the data and insights.
  • Contribute to our product vision, strategy and roadmap, while keeping an eye on competitors and market trends.
  • Work with sales, customer success and marketing to optimise B2B and B2C funnels.
  • Manage collaboration with platform partners and other third parties.
  • To demonstrate that you are the right person for the role, you will:

  • Have a passion for providing customers with new insights, helping them to create both meaningful experiences for customers and enact incremental change. 
  • Be an owner. We get excited about the things we’re creating. We see opportunities, and we’re chomping at the bit to make them happen; we don’t want to wait for someone else to do them. We love people who see themselves as the agents that can make things happen; owners of their work and their goals.
  • Have an eye for detail. As the person who translates our product vision into actionable stories for our engineering team, you’re a stickler for detail, and as a result your documentation is second to none. Nothing gets past you, which is why you’ll answer the following question in your cover letter: what is a product that inspires you, and why?
  • Be a storyteller by nature. Telling a cohesive story is more than facts and data, its communication, empathy, honesty and nuance. We are creating a category, so we need to both educate and build our vision of the future. Communication is your thing, alongside product, so you’re not only technically capable, but have very strong communication skills.
