The role

Central to our goal is our Product team, who obsess about our customer needs and wants, dive deep into the data to validate hypothesise, develop and test ideas, then work side-by-side with our Engineering team to rapidly build and launch products and features that customers love.

We need a superstar product manager to own the vision for our mobile app, working with a dedicated mobile squad as well as teams across the wider business to create incredible mobile experiences for our users that cement Zip as the preferred way to pay, everywhere and everyday.
We’re looking for someone who who understands mobile context and less being more, and always puts the user first. Someone who loves to dig into the data, challenge the status quo, build consensus to drive outcomes across the organisation, and bring fresh ideas to our awesome product team!

To help us level up, you'll ideally have:

  • Significant mobile product management experience
  • Experience as a product manager in a fast-growth tech company
  • Passion for creating world-class user experiences on mobile platforms
  • Strong knowledge of the constraints and opportunities that mobile presents
  • A truly data-driven approach to understanding problems 
  • Knowledge and practical application of Design Thinking, Lean and Agile principles
  • Ability to translate product objectives into specific growth and engagement metrics and levers
  • Experience working with data and analytics to generate demand, optimise conversion and drive engagement and repeat usage
  • Ability to conduct experiments using the latest techniques to test, learn and improve the customer experience
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • The drive, determination and resilience to quickly work through ambiguity to an outcome
  • Confidence in your own abilities, yet humble enough to admit when you’re wrong
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to move with a sense of urgency, sensitivity to give people space to offer suggestions
  • A love of autonomy as well as close team-working
