Role Overview:

This rare career-defining role will spearhead a talented team across consumer and corporate communications, digital PR and insights. The role will lead a team that develops inspiring story ideas, campaigns, projects and initiatives to raise awareness, drive traffic and redirects to Finder. An inspiring leader, strategic thinker and brilliant executor, you’ll thrive on growing Finder’s brand awareness and credibility.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Strategy - develop and execute a world class PR & Communications strategy that makes Finder the first and most trusted choice for consumers.
  • Consumer PR - lead proactive and reactive media coverage for all of Finder AU’s niches through TV, radio, print, and online media.
  • Insights - decipher trends and create compelling stories via a combination of first and third party data (including Finder’s Consumer Sentiment Tracker). 
  • Digital PR - use best practice digital PR tactics to secure links from highly relevant websites and promote Finder authors.
  • Trade marketing - execute on partner marketing strategy to elevate existing, and build new, relationships that ensure Finder is preferred and top of mind.
  • Corporate communication - positively influence across various stakeholder groups including the government; regulatory bodies; schools and tertiary organisations; media and consumers.
  • Leadership - hire and retain exceptional talent and coach them to greatness. As part of the AU leadership team, contribute to setting Finder AU’s strategy and delivery versus our longer term goals. 

Requirements of the Role:

  • Extensive experience in the development and implementation of highly effective communications strategies, including experience as a media spokesperson.
  • Demonstrated success in securing media coverage across on and offline platforms that has positively impacted a business and brand.
  • Superior writing and editing skills and an ability to prioritise and always meet deadlines.
  • An understanding of the public policy landscape in Australia and prior experience of influencing public policy outcomes on behalf of an organisation.
