Futurerent is entering the scaleup stage of its journey to radically transform how property investors collect rent and access the money they need to grow their wealth. Until now, most property investors have refinanced their entire loan when they only need a small amount, which is slow, painful and expensive. The banks make borrowing $50,000 as painful as borrowing $500,000. Who we are looking for
An enthusiastic SDR to join the Futurerent sales team. This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to catapult their sales career and be a key contributor to the sales and growth engine of a game-changing Australian start-up. You will have a passion for startups and fintech and an obsession with helping clients achieve their dreams.
- A passion for sales and learning
- Outstanding interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn our product, and understand how Futurerent helps property investors and fits within the broader competitive landscape
- Worked in a customer-facing role for 2-3 years
- A relentless ability to hustle, inspire leads, and create an evangelical following among your prospects and clients
- Learn from an experienced sales leader, who will provide mentorship, training and growth opportunities
- Build and nurture relationships with prospects, clients and partners
- Generate a pipeline and the sales function of qualified leads
- Test various scripts, templates, cadences, collateral and sales tactics to find winning formulas
- Work with the team to qualify leads
What success looks like
In the first month, you will meet with the whole Futurerent team and get to have a warm induction. This will include learning all about the product to get a full grasp of how the customers can be assisted in the best possible way. You will hear the Futurerent story from the Founder and CEO, Godfrey Dinh and be inducted into the sales and marketing process, including sales mentorship and training from the Commercial Lead, Greg Shandler. Practically you will start to listen to sales calls and learn the company’s sales process and sales operations. You will begin by learning basic scripts and qualifying and categorising inbound leads and passing them onto the operations team for processing.
By the second month you will go deeper into sales scripts and strategy and be able to handle more complex product questions and objections. By the third month, you will be capable of closing deals from inbound lists provided to you. You will continue to grow with the business and optimse the sales process as the business rapidly scales.
You will be reporting to the Commercial Lead, Greg Shandler. Greg started his career in property and moved into sales roles for Bloomberg, Linkedin, Salesforce and ELMO Software.
