About the role

We are looking for a proactive, creative, flexible and highly organised Product Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist to lead the learning of Lumary's products for internal staff, customers and partners. The Product L&D Specialist is tasked with influencing and shaping the way that Lumary product-based learning is designed and delivered at Lumary, as well as being responsible for hands-on delivery of those initiatives.

We have included an example of what a day in the life may look like below.

A day in the life

  • Your first meeting of the day is the P&C team standup where each member runs through their day yesterday and what their plan is for today. We do this to stay connected as a team and enhance collaboration by sharing helpful information and removing obstacles for each other
  • If you’re working from the office, play a game of pool or NBA Jam, or if you’re at home, take a coffee break and join in the celebrations and wish a happy birthday or milestones with the team on slack
  • You will design, develop & facilitate specialised L&D of Lumary’s products for the benefit of internal staff, customers and partners alike. This includes creation of content, materials and resources using various mediums, specific to departments, levels and roles and external stakeholder needs.
  • Conduct thorough training needs analysis' at a organisational, department and job level, identifying gaps and suggest recommendations to bridge gaps
  • Partner with HR to understand and identify training requested through HR processes (including engagement survey, performance reviews, etc.) with a view to inform necessary training to bridge any performance gaps
  • Collaborate with the strategy and product teams to build effective learning materials for staff, customers and partners alike to ensure increased knowledge of Lumary products
  • Champion product L&D at Lumary, encouraging a positive learning culture through internal communications and promotions
  • Collaborate with HR, Department Managers and C-Suite on all product L&D requirements for employees
  • Maintain currency, relevance and accuracy of learning content and information on confluence and other mediums
  • Rollout compliance training and produce relevant completion reports (where relevant) 
  • Coordinate ad-hoc internal training events or programs and provide support for induction and onboarding programs
  • You will contribute to informing the learning and development budget

  • Knowledge of adult learning principles
  • Technical hands-on Salesforce experience
  • You have at least 2 years of relevant experience in an intermediate learning role
  • Knowledge of disability and / or aged care industries in Australia and / or the United States (desirable)
  • You enjoy learning and are always looking to grow
  • Ability to deliver training through various mediums i.e. face-to-face, video conferencing, blended approach
