FoodByUs is Australia's #1 online wholesale food marketplace connecting hundreds of suppliers to restaurants, cafes, caterers, hotels, bars and other foodservice businesses. We’re a one-stop shop that allows any hospitality business to order all the wholesale supplies they need from dry goods to alcohol to packaging. Our founders built and sold Menulog, and we’re looking to make FoodByUs just as successful.
What you'll do:
You will begin at FoodByUs contacting leads over the phone and explaining the FoodByUs product – all with the goal of booking an in-person appointment for one of our experienced Business Development Managers to visit and complete the sale. We want venues to order all their food and beverages through FoodByUs and this journey starts with you!
Within 3 – 6 months you will do a blend of over-the-phone sales mixed with field-based selling to your very own accounts. From day one we will begin training you to be a Business Development Executive, and how quickly you advance is up to you.
The most important thing to know about FoodByUs is that our operations and training are second to none. We are a fun-loving start up but we also know how to get results - that is why we're the market leader. You will be supported by a very strong training program within the sales team, as well as help from marketing and operations – so you’ll always have help and guidance.
This role is designed to progress along a defined professional sales career path. It is a fantastic start not only in learning how to sell but also to earn industry-leading commissions along the way.
