About the role

Zeller is searching for a talented and hands-on Paid Social Specialist, to help scale new merchant growth across Australia utilising paid acquisition through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and more. As an integral member of the Growth team, you’ll drive our merchant acquisition strategy across Paid Social and own execution, optimisation and results of all related campaigns. You’ll take a data-driven approach to improve efficiency through creative testing, content and copy optimisation, landing page variation, and more. 

This is a new and exciting role for a skilled Paid Social Specialist with 2 years of executional, hands-on experience working within Facebook Ads Manager. This role will give you the chance to be hands-on in defining new processes and ways of working within a rapidly growing Marketing team. You’ll be integral in us exceeding our new merchant acquisition targets by honing your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment at one of Australia’s fastest growing fintech brands.

Role responsibilities

  • Collaborate with wider Growth and Marketing team to develop and execute direct response strategies that drive new merchant acquisition to Zeller
  • Use a data-driven approach to build and execute on creative, eye-catching and audience-focused campaigns to drive acquisition, product adoption and retention
  • Implement and optimise campaigns within Facebook Ads Manager to ensure campaign health and our ability to exceed our targets
  • Own daily campaign monitoring, pacing, optimisation, tracking, and reporting
  • Surface opportunities for testing and improvements based on daily, weekly, and monthly trends
  • Monitor reporting tools to understand channel effectiveness and react to changes in CPA, ROI, LTV, and other channel metrics
  • Develop and propose creative testing, refreshes and improvements that enhance conversion rates and efficiency in Paid Social marketing
  • Develop relationships with third-party partners (tech partners, creative agencies) to ensure that Zeller is always following best practices
  • Partner with colleagues across Creative, Marketing, Communications, Content, Sales and Product to educate with a Paid Social lens, and support broader campaigns and initiatives
  • Use analytics to deliver insights back to the business that showcase the impact of each campaign, and determine opportunities to scale
  • Qualifications and experience

  • 2 years of hands-on experience in Paid Social or Performance Marketing activities, with specific experience working in Facebook Ads Manager
  • Background using analytics and data to drive growth and optimise towards multiple KPIs
  • A creative lens and eye for design; you balance driving efficiency with ensuring that our advertising, content and campaigns are always on brand
  • Experience manipulating data and extracting insights 
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the leading tools, platforms and technologies to make Paid Social more efficient. You’ll thrive on educating others in the business on what you’re doing and why it’s important.
