Role Overview:

Working closely with the product management, marketing & growth as well as design and engineering teams, ultimately you will find insights that help us understand both Finder and our customers to ensure we realise our goals and success metrics.

To make this possible you will embody a genuine curiosity about both our customers and our data and wake-up energised every day to seek out valuable insights to help inform decisions and problems that we solve.

We have a lot of data to work with and we want to fully leverage this as an asset in our business. Success in this role will see you leveraging your experience in building out data-driven insights and subsequent decisions, working closely with and communicating to Finder crew and stakeholders and being proactive in your approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting a product-led growth mindset by working with product managers to understand user behaviour using data points and statistical methodologies for advanced analysis - including deeper segmentation
  • Driving a culture of experimentation across product development and the wider business to improve customer experience and to optimise lifetime value and engagement.  This includes working in partnership with Growth teams to embed and develop experimentation frameworks across teams, and data infrastructure to allow for ongoing measurement and testing of hypothesis
  • Craft and build relevant dashboards and instrumentation for our relevant product teams to keep us driving to success and to help inform insights and behaviour.
  • Drive the integration of proactive data capture and insight driven-decision making across the product development process. This is across the end-to-end lifecycle of any relevant work stream, covering data models, dashboards and other relevant artefacts and ensure these are maintained to be dynamic and accurate.
  • Identifying high impact opportunities for data products, support roadmap development and execute work streams using insights and intelligence as data assets that align with product priorities

Desired Experience and Skills:

We realise that everybody‚Äôs experience is unique and we value potential and attitude over experience and so not all of  these are necessarily required:

  • You have genuine mastery with data and have several years experience working as a data or product analyst being very comfortable with taking an underlying data set, and converting this into a strong narrative that is supported by the insights gleaned from the data sets.
  • You have demonstrated experience impacting business goals by using data.
  • You have experience with segmentation and experimentation and other common frameworks and approaches used in product and data analytics
  • Strong competency with SQL; data visualisation tools and ideally some experience with data warehouses
  • Experience with optimising product funnels, running experiments, and building dashboards that effectively communicate results and outcomes
  • Experience with very large data sets is a huge plus, but not required
  • Strong communication skills - verbal and written - be able to break down complex topics into simple solutions and ideas
