About the role:

As a Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for the provision of compliance and regulatory advice throughout the business transaction cycle. You will assess regulatory and compliance risks in transactions, and closely coordinate with key risk and business stakeholders to resolve regulatory issues. You will also lead regulatory change projects that impact all three sales channels, Working Capital, Asset and Equipment and Commercial and Development finance, participate in regulatory consultations and work with the business to design and implement regulatory risk controls.

Requirements

To be successful in this role:

  • You will have a good understanding of structured finance products, preferably with knowledge or experience in structured debt and equity transactions due diligence through working in our industry peer firms or big consulting firms.
  • You will be solution-focused with good commercial sense and a genuine interest in the application of complex regulations to our dynamic businesses.
  • You will be able to effectively communicate with senior management and stakeholders with clear advice.
  • In depth understanding of the following
    • AML/CTF, anti-bribery & corruption and sanctions risks
    • Responsible lending
    • Privacy act
    • NCCP knowledge a bonus
    • Call Quality & internal audit framework
  • You will be able to show a track record of rolling out a governance framework through a fast paced, ever changing business.
  • You have leadership experience.
  • Managing or collaborating with offshore teams an advantage
