About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Provider Integrations team. Our team builds and maintains real-time backend services (.NET Core + K8s + AWS) that are used to display relevant offers to the users. We also build connections to external APIs (Providers) to get inventory for goods and services our partners are cross-selling through Rokt.

We care deeply about building robust, easy-to-maintain services and APIs. We have high standards for code quality, testing and observability of our systems. We own solutions end-to-end: from initial design to implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring and support. We collaborate with other teams to deliver big projects.

In this role, you will be involved in every part of software delivery: researching technologies / tools to solve a particular business problem, writing RFCs and design documents, planning the work, implementing high quality code and tests, setting up all the required infrastructure, integrating your work with other teams work if needed, releasing your changes to production, monitoring its performance and reliability, and fixing issues in timely manner if they arise.

You will be a curious problem solver, know how to get things done and how to balance tradeoffs. You won't be shy to ask questions or question other people's ideas and you care deeply about the work you are delivering.


  • Writing design specifications and RFCs
  • Writing clean code and tests (C#, .NET Core)
  • Setting up infrastructure in AWS (Cloudformation)
  • Troubleshooting issues when they arise
  • Setting up CI/CD pipelines
  • Mentoring team members to advance their skills
  • Facilitating technical workshops


  • Extensive commercial software experience
  • Bachelor's degree, equivalent experience or demonstrable aptitude
  • Excellent knowledge of C# .NET (OOP, SOLID)
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems design
  • Ability to clearly communicate your ideas both verbally and in writing
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud platforms
  • Experience in building public Web APIs is a plus
  • Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines is a plus
  • Experience in logging / monitoring / alerting tools is a plus
