See-Mode is a medtech startup backed by Blackbird Ventures, MassMutual Ventures, and top tech investors across Asia-Pacific. At See-Mode, we help clinicians analyse medical images faster and more accurately to predict stroke using the latest advances in machine learning and computational modelling. We have an interdisciplinary team of scientists and engineers and are advised by experienced clinicians in Australia and Singapore. 

At See-Mode our mission is a world without stroke. We’re looking for a passionate engineer to join us on this mission, creating advanced medical software which is revolutionising stroke care. We have a big journey ahead of us and 2021 is going to be an instrumental year for our product. Our first goal is to re-platform to handle the growth we are experiencing and then we will be heavily focused on building new use cases for new customers, expanding the product greatly with scale in mind. 

Your Role

You will join our software team as a Senior DevOps engineer, shaping the future experience of our products as we enter an exciting stage of growth and expansion. You will work closely with our software team as well as our Product Manager and Product Designer. You will have the unique opportunity to build some of the most advanced medical image analysis products in the market using machine learning to increase efficiency for healthcare providers and help them improve patient care.

About You

You’re an all-round Senior DevOps Engineer with professional experience in designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure for web applications and preferably with experience in serverless applications.

As our first dedicated DevOps Engineer you will take ownership over our devops environment to ensure the See-Mode platform scales effectively. You will have hands-on experience with Linux, cloud infrastructure (AWS), containers orchestration and CI/CD pipeline automation to work closely with our development teams. You will work across initiatives to advance our technology stack, help development teams to release new features and keep the lights on! You will need to have a growth mindset and enjoy working in a lean environment.

Requirements 

• 3+ years of professional experience in development and deployment of large scale web applications on cloud infrastructure (preferably with AWS) - experience with serverless architecture is beneficial
• Experience in writing high-performance, production quality code in Python and Javascript
• Strong foundation in computer science and engineering, including data structures, architecture, and design patterns.
• Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.

• Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, GraphQL, SageMaker
• Bitbucket CI/CD pipelines and version control
