We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our fast-growing health tech company in the disability sector for a 12 month fixed term contract, with the potential to go permanent.

You’ll be working within our People and Talent team and partnering directly with Engineering, Product, and Design and continue to build out high achieving teams located in our Sydney office and remotely based across Australia.

We want this person to truly develop and manage the recruiting cycle as we are valued partners to our Hiring Teams, but to the growing business as well.  We play in tech, but we’re a human company.

The Role

We have big hearts and everything you’ll do is going to be focused on finding the right people who will help solve problems for people:  people with disability who need services, people who deliver those services, and the families. This involves:

  • Sourcing, screening and engaging passive and active candidates
  • Using data to drive conversations with hiring teams to find the most efficient and customer-centric means to attract top talent
  • Championing integrity and inclusion in everything you do, and encouraging others to build inclusive teams and environments
  • Encouraging a candidate experience that stresses transparency, empathy, and fairness
  • Utilising our ATS, social media, and other creative tools to source candidates
  • Building rapport with your partners, whether they be candidates, hiring managers, interviewers, or teammates
  • Acting as a consultant for hiring managers to help them navigate the recruiting journey from start to finish

 About You

  • Proven experience working as a Recruiter in Software Development, Product Management, Design, or other highly technical areas
  • A positive, resourceful, and motivated attitude with the ability to work creatively and calmly under pressure
  • Strong partner management skills
  • A detail-oriented, data-driven mentality
  • A basic understanding of technology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You are as enthusiastic about our vision and mission as we are (and happy to share it with everyone in the space)

About the team

We approach work with flexible focus (we are a fast-paced startup and things change quickly), grit and a sense of humour.  We value diversity, delivering value, great and transparent experiences.  It's important that we show up as ourselves every day, are having fun, invest in each other with radical candor and are leaving things/process/people/ourselves better than when we started.  Ownership, trust and support will be afforded to you in a way that you can bring your full self in everyday and create incredible impact.
