Being the Head of Sales now will be very different to next year and the year after that. We continuously exceed our sales expectations and scale incredibly fast but what we have planned will be even greater than that. This means you will need to take that vision and turn it into a plan today. You will need to solve problems long in advance but manage the day to day challenges of sales and partnerships.

About us:

We saw a materials revolution happening around us. Everything was changing rapidly; energy, transport and agriculture yet plastic stayed the same. We knew the technology existed to put an end to plastic waste but there weren’t any products available on the market for us to use. That’s when Great Wrap was born. We invented the products we knew the world was missing so we can dump plastic once and for all.

We are driven by impact, fuelled by demand and have a 10 year vision for a world where plastic doesn’t exist.

A little more about the role:

  • Build a positive work culture amongst the sales team and greater ecosystem
  • Plan and drive the overall sales strategy
  • Create and optimise the sales plan for your team to use when securing new accounts
  • Act as the sales pipeline architect
  • Ensure our sales contracts are fluid across our sales system
  • Foresee potential problems and solve them in advance
  • Build and inspire a sales team
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Customer Service teams
  • Determine key sales KPIs and communicate directly to the management team
  • Act as the conduit between our digital product team, finance team and marketing team to ensure seamless customer experience
  • Suggest solutions for process improvements
  • Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner
  • Train and evaluate others
  • Collaborate with the Management Team in all aspects of the business to ensure the Great Wrap Vision is being upheld in all key decisions
  • Build and maintain good relationships with key partners
  • Help build the global Great Wrap strategy

Requirements

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and identify critical paths quickly and independently
  • Previous relevant working experience as a Head of Sales/Sales Manager or similar role for 8+ years
  • The ability to think big and act small
  • Hands on experience in leading and dealing with large accounts that require detailed legal contracts and long term relationship building
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Great understanding of software
  • Hubspot literate
