The Partner Manager is responsible for securing new business leads & revenue through marketing, events and the partner network by following best practices and procedures. They are responsible for managing existing partnerships and potentially developing new ones.

Shippit is going through a hyper growth period where channel & partnerships will play a crucial role in contributing to our merchant acquisition. We are just starting our channel & partnerships journey, come build the future with us!

What will you do?

  • Build and manage a network of partners in line with Shippit agreed partner profiles across enterprise & scaling segments.
  • Create new partnerships by prospecting, building and managing a pipeline of new prospective channel, digital agencies and integrators
  • Manage the ongoing relationship with your partner network and aligning on go to market strategies
  • Provide marketing and sales support to your partners before, during and after deal negotiation
  • Train partners to qualify target accounts that will lead to successful opportunities and marketing events in tandem
  • Manage on-boarding and enablement process for partner including co-marketing strategy
  • Drive partner co-marketing initiatives with support from our Marketing function through: Case Studies, Press Releases and other Marketing Collateral with partner
  • Liaise with Marketing function to establish and conduct joint Marketing events & initiatives to create mutual value
  • Develop deep trusted relationships across partner’s organisation and win mindshare of partner’s product and sales teams.
  • Drive product marketing, and lead generation activities with partners including, attending customer events, seminars and trade shows.
  • Network and cultivate personal relationships within all levels of the partners’ organization (specifically sales, account managers, partner manager, and management)
  • Timely and accurate forecasting and reporting of activity across partnership and marketing initiatives
  • What you will bring:

  • Software partnerships sales experience.
  • Demonstrated track record in meeting or exceeding assigned individual KPI’s in a software or SaaS company, including a proven track record of facilitating new business sales through partners, marketing, and events.
  • Experience in building new and existing partner networksHave an existing network of contacts within the eCommerce ecosystem
  • Strong business development skills; you should be comfortable calling directly into an organisation and seeking out decision-makers for our products and services, or partnership marketing opportunities
  • Relevant channel experience in the last two years in SaaS industry
  • Ability to use your network, marketing experience and our partner network to generate leads for the sales teamEnjoys working in a dynamic, fast growing environment to challenging KPIs
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with change, think strategically, and make complex decisions
  • Strong technology skills.
  • You should be able to do complete product demonstrations and credibly discuss technical topics such as  integrations and APIs
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office or Google softwar
  • eWorking knowledge of Salesforce
