THE ICONIC Buyers travel to fashion capitals around the globe to source the best brands and research and predict the up-and-coming trends for our customers. This team is creative, analytical and absolutely customer-focused. With a growth-mindset, they are offered regular Buying Academy workshops, mentoring and up-skilling opportunities to enable all team members to be their best. Our Buying team lives and breathes fashion. We are currently on the look out for a Category Admin Assistant to join our Menswear team.

What’s involved…

Reporting to Buyer/ Senior Buyer, the CA will be responsible for the below ongoing tasks:

  • Assist our Buyers with trade analysis and commentary  
  • Assist with the management of sku lifecycle/re-coding 
  • Assist our Buyers/Planners with core line management
  • Attend supplier meetings and assist Buyers with contract on-boarding process in Jira 
  • Manage & populate weekly marketing sku lists
  • Assist in completing the marketing monthly priorities alongside our Buyers
  • Conduct consistent local and internet market research
  • Identify product & trends relevant to customer segment
  • Follow up deliveries every Mon/Wed/Fri, update delivery schedule and ensure international deliveries are booked in
  • Works with AB to inform buyer & planner of any intake risk to  for next 4 - 6 weeks
  • Assists team to hold suppliers accountable for delivery failure (e.g. late deliveries, under deliveries)
  • Raise official orders
  • Ensure order confirmation is received and cross checked with original order
  • EDI order/ confirm PO has been sent 
  • Any changes to orders to go back through the order management process 
  • Issue resolution - updating NAV, revised invoices, credit notes, etc
  • Raise replen order in system
  • Monthly order reconciliation (planned v actual) & clear down overdue POs (AB to be across it)
  • Best and worst product review - populating images/samples
  • Run + save down best and worst for monday trade & vendor meetings
  • Ensure floors and corners are entered accurately in the system
  • Ongoing data integrity of skus (e.g. categorisation)
  • Future stock on order - check pricing and season coding
  • Source samples from vendors for campaign shoots
  • Check new arrivals daily, monitoring images onsite + make suggestions to buyer for re-shoots
  • Resolve & address all product related queries from Production, CS, logistics & content (SKU issues included)

About you… 

  • Ideally you will have 1-2 years of experience as a Buyers Assistant working in a similar role
  • Skilled in Excel reporting (including pivot tables and v-look ups)
  • Strong communication skills with a great eye for detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • A strong team player who embodies our ICONIC Principles
