About The Role

Being the Process Specialist now will be very different to next year and the year after that. You will be in charge of taking biopolymers from suppliers or from our lab and setting the process guidelines for the manufacturing team. All of the products you create will be a completely new invention within themselves as we are on the forefront of biotechnology and biopolymers.

  • Research ways to improve existing biopolymers on extrusions lines
  • Work with the manufacturing team to optimise processes
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to design biopolymers for the future
  • Generate SOP for the manufacturing team
  • Mentor teams on how to maintain high quality products
  • Report data in an easy to understand manner
  • Present outcomes to the leadership team and work together to solve problems as we scale

About You

  • Problem solving is your bread and butter
  • You are extremely curious and love asking questions when things don’t work
  • You have 2+ years of experience in operating extrusion lines
  • You have 2+ years of experience in an R&D role
  • You have studied Chemical Engineering at university

Being that you are responsible for this, then we want you to have ownership of the company too. In this role you will receive a percentage of the company or ESOP.
