As a Senior Account Manager you are responsible for bringing Xero Partners on the Partner Journey, facilitating growth through education, strategy and guidance. You would be responsible for the successful growth, support and development of some of the largest Accounting Partners.

This will include challenging their thinking while helping them understand the value of the Xero Ecosystem and how to successfully implement the Xero Practice Tools where applicable.

Another key impact driver will be your thought leadership within the Accounting/Bookkeeping industry and tech industry as a whole, achieved through engagement across different mediums such as Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, etc. 

What you'll do

  • Relationship management of existing accounting Partners
  • Drive customer numbers up and achieve monthly targets
  • Driving online strategy deep within the practice, and increasing the number of active users within each firm
  • Develop collaboration plans for the firms to sign clients onto Xero
  • Guide and educate partners through the benefits and process of adopting Xero's Partner practice tools
  • Creating, presenting and attending Xero Partner events
  • Drive further engagement with partners via formal plans to develop Xero skills
  • Manage the recruitment, education and growth of your Partner base
  • Ensure Partners and staff attend introductory webinars, events & certification training
  • Educate Partners on all Partner resources available
  • Updating CRM (Salesforce) with all client communications including calls, emails and meetings
  • Maintaining and updating CRM of all practice staff and contact details

  • Increasing adoption of use of Xero Products
  • Increasing share of wallet of Xero services within the partners
  • Educating Partners effectively
  • Successfully executing 1:Many events
  • Building deep relationships with Partners and developing multiple contacts within each Partner firm
  • Partner’s growing through the Xero Partner Journey
  • Working closely with the Partner Consulting team to educate Partners and implement Xero practice and reporting tools
  • Meeting monthly targets (Gross Revenue, Upgrade Revenue, Net new orgs, Activity KPIs)
  • What you'll bring

  • Extensive experience in an account management position in either SaaS or Accounting
  • Proven sales experience
  • Performance and results driven
  • Territory Planning experience 
  • Initiative and ability to work as a senior member of the sales team and help guide and nurture younger talent
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills and an enthusiasm for building strong relationships, including strong public speaking skills
  • Ability to create a quick and strong rapport with Partners
  • Urgency to meet and exceed expectations of Partners
