Currently, our employees are predominately working from home and this role will also be remote for the time being. We anticipate employees will be returning to the office, in a flexible capacity, during 2021 as appropriate & when it is safe to do so.


The Organic team is part of the wider Global Marketing organisation and is responsible for new revenue generation from organic channels like SEO. This is a critical team in our business: organic channels are some of our fastest growing and most important for building new, predictable pipeline. A lot goes into making that happen: there’s content to consider, creatives, website assets, our website and sales teams and - most of all - our awesome customers and product. The Organic team collaborates across all those functions to make sure everything is lined up and we hit our goals. 


At Deputy we’re growing fast, but we want to do more. We need someone who can help us accelerate the growth of our organic channels across all our markets and industries. 

This role is primarily responsible for helping with and guiding the execution for all on-site and off-site SEO. This will cover both “pure” SEO work, and well as offering help and guidance to other functions across the business on implementing SEO best practice. Additionally, this role will work with the Senior Manager of Organic Acquisition and other Marketing leadership in developing and implementing the overarching organic marketing strategy to build our online presence.

As a member of the Organic team you will be heavily involved in content briefing &  ideation, app store optimisation, and growing traffic from referral sources. As a result you will play a central role in our Marketing team and work closely with stakeholders across all our offices (USA, Australia, UK) including Content, Design, Marketing Ops, Website, Paid Media, Product Marketing and Campaign teams. That’s why we’re looking for a real team player and a fast learner: someone who can analyse and interpret reporting, keep up-to-date with best practices, develop a plan, and then put it in to practice. We’re looking for someone who wants to learn, but is still happy to get their hands dirty when needed. And critically: someone who can communicate the challenges, opportunities and results clearly.


  • Assist the Senior Manager of Organic Acquisition to develop and implement yearly / quarterly organic channel commercial strategies designed to be our primary driver of new growth.
  • Own our Technical / On Site SEO maintenance and execution, and liaise with our Site team to ensure our site is always at its best.
  • Own and develop SEO strategies with an understanding of how to continuously iterate in a ‘test and learn’ manner.
  • Drive our off-site / off-domain web presence, including driving our link building program and overseeing optimisation / expansion of our earnt media.
  • Work with the Senior Manager of Organic Acquisition to brainstorm ideas, share learnings and shape our global organic roadmap with an insight-led approach.
  • Liaise with internal teams to create new landing pages, launch global campaigns and optimize cross-channel experiences for our users.
  • Analyse results and report on campaigns’ performance to local & global stakeholders across the business. 

  • 2 years of hands-on SEO experience, either agency or client-side.
  • Enthusiast team player with a growth mindset to constantly test, iterate and share your learnings with the wider team. 
  • Strong communicator who is able to articulate complex ideas in a clear and compelling way.
  • Experience working to, and delivering on, target outcomes.
  • Passion for learning and experimentation; we’re always looking for new and better organic tools and strategies to test!
  • Experience using with web analytics platform, ideally  Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
  • Advanced knowledge of current and emerging SEO best practices, including available tools (e.g. SEM Rush, Screaming Frog, Moz, Brightedge) and actively research and review emerging tools and capabilities
  • Strong analytical skills & advanced knowledge of Excel to identify data patterns and opportunities to improve campaign performance.
