Jira Administrator - 8 month contract

About the role

Working in an agile environment on enterprise-level, high-quality software to support THE ICONIC as a leader in the online retail space, you will:

  • Maintain Jira projects, workflows, permissions
  • Analyse, review, and document current functionality to determine potential areas of improvement
  • Improve Jira security, set access permissions for Jira projects and confluence spaces
  • Respond to end user incidents and service requests
  • Perform application and system administration tasks, including software upgrades and scheduled jobs
  • Test new versions of tools and plug-ins to ensure compatibility
  • Research the latest industry methods and techniques
  • Develop metrics dashboards, heatmaps, reports to provide development teams and senior leadership with meaningful operational/performance metrics and status reports

About you! Skills, capabilities and experience will include:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
  • 2+ years experience managing all aspects of the Atlassian suite
  • Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team
  • Ability to meet deadlines and commitments, prioritise and multitask
  • Process and efficiency driven
  • Initiative, enthusiasm and ability to identify and prioritise work
  • Meticulous with an eye for detail
  • A practical quick learner who is open to new challenges
  • Growth mind-set, we never stop learning!

Experience with the following a plus

  • Atlassian certifications
  • Integration experience
  • Advancing Security Schema Knowledge

This role is performed on a hybrid working arrangement, which means you will split your time working in the office or in a location of your choice.
