To help drive this growth we are looking for a SMB Integration Engineer accountable for implementing the Zip payment method and web assets.

The role:

  • Complete integrations across different ecommerce platforms following our integration guides and best practices – most commonly in Magento, Shopify, Big Commerce and WooCommerce.
  • Connect with merchants via phone, email or video calls to guide them through the payment implementation experience.
  • Become the last line of defence providing technical support via email, Zendesk or telephone.
  • Take ownership of tickets ensuring that they are fully investigated, resolved in time in accordance with our SLA's, and where necessary raised as an issue for our in-house plugin development team to fix or provide a solution. 
  • Identify recurrent issues reported by merchants and raise them so a permanent solution can be implemented.
  • Work closely with our in-house plugin development team to resolve issues that require their attention.
  • Assist merchants with technical integrations questions.
  • Own new initiatives that can be implemented to improve the integration process. 
  • Conduct regular training and catch ups with the merchant support team to keep them up to date with new features & functionalities in the Zip plugins.
  • To help us level up, you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in a pre or post sales technical support role.
  • Customer centric approach, including the ability to satisfy high profile partners, understand their requirements and deliver the right solution.
  • Excellent ability to communicate with varied audiences.
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Ticket management in Zendesk and Jira.
  • Moderate knowledge of REST APIs, HTML, CSS.
  • Experience working with e-commerce and CMS backends. 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • True ‘people person’ with an awesome approach to customer service.
  • Skilled in time management and work prioritisation skills.
