The Team
We empower. We build. We help. This is our team mission and as our Workplace Technology Specialist, you will help us embody it. You have specialist skills and experience with audiovisual hardware, event support, and breaking down requirements into an achievable plan. You’ll help put your own spin on our workplace technology, events, and IT support. You’ll be a key driver in realising our ambitious team goals and delivering a world-class IT function. 

How you’ll spend your time

  • You will be supporting all audio visual events in our Sydney office
  • You will meet with event coordinators to discuss audio and video requirements and translate these into executable schedules
  • You’ll be responsible for setting up and installing specialist AV equipment; TV panels, projectors, speakers, cameras, and microphones.
  • You will be conducting daily sound, visual, and performance quality checks on all AV equipment throughout the office
  • You will be responsible for operating sound and visual equipment during live events, ensuring events run smoothly 
  • What You will provide a high level of customer service while supporting staff in a fast-paced environment
  • You will assist in evaluating existing systems and research new technologies for potential applicability within SafetyCulture
  • About you

  • You have a passion for AV and IT and a desire to do more than just “keep the lights on”
  • You can bring excellent customer service and can focus on the needs of the entire SafetyCulture user base 
  • You can demonstrate effective communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts to wider audiences
  • You have a self-starting attitude and are a reliable and cooperative team player
  • Required skills

  • Experience with Google Meet and Zoom platforms and associated hardware (Chromebox for Meet and Neat Zoom Room hardware).
  • Experience with supporting technology for audiovisual events
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows 10, Office 365 and performing basic SaaS tool admin
  • Experience with or willingness to upskill in the use of software used by the wider IT team e.g. Okta
