What you’ll do:

In the role you’ll be a critical member of the Marketing and Communications team. You will report to our Creative Director, as well as working closely with senior members of the marketing and communications team, and the Whispir leadership team. 

You enjoy creating appealing presentations and strategic communications that give your colleagues greater confidence and help them succeed. You will create visually stunning and impactful presentations that capture our brand essence and personality. Your work will be used by a wide variety of colleagues, including: Whispir’s c-suite, internal communications, people and culture, and sales; for key events such as investor presentations, all staff comms, demo days, and strategic sales pitches. Your presentations will promote our product to external stakeholders and customers and engage employees and internal audiences about the company’s capabilities, our culture, and our ongoing growth.   

You will also have a big impact on how our new brand design shows up in the world. We believe in design developed through a thoughtful process with great attention to detail. Your work will include managing our new brand design guidelines, how our brand comes to life in our Melbourne HQ, sponsorship of organisations and events, as well as other important initiatives and applications. Whether it’s a visually impactful keynote speaker deck for our CEO, an Annual Report design, an investor presentations or reports with great looking charts, or an internal communications program, this is a role where no two days are the same; where you embrace ambiguity and new ideas, driven by a passion for bringing creative ideas to life.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role as a Presentation/Graphic Designer, or an agency/design studio setting
  • Formal qualification/s in Communication Design or Visual Communication or the equivalent training and experience
  • Proven experience in designing CEO/keynote presentations, pitch decks, and corporate communications e.g. investor presentations and publications
  • Expert in Powerpoint, Google Slides and InDesign - other presentation software is a bonus
  • Excellent typography and typesetting skills
  • Strong skills in PowerPoint and Google Slides template and master page creation
  • High-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma 
  • Ability to perform basic video editing
  • Comfortable with speaker support and setup of presentation software and hardware e.g. video and audio and adept at online setup or in-person (post-lockdown)
  • Exceptional listening and communication skills
  • Real attention to detail in all aspects of your work
  • Demonstrated understanding of layout and visual communication theory
  • Proficient MS Office skills
  • Comfortable handling multiple projects autonomously
  • Excellent under pressure and comfortable working with tight deadlines
  • Bonus points for animation and skills in AfterEffects, Cinema 4D
